What are good exercises for leg strengthening and burning calories?
I have started spending 4 hours a day exercising for figure skating. I go to a gym 3 times a week and and when days that i dont go, i spend a hour on the glider and an 2 hours practicing my jumps off ice, and a half hour doing step workouts and a half hour streching. I still feel like this isnt enough. does anyone know any other exercises that i can do?
You could try putting ankle weights on when you do exercises and you could also try ballet. Remember to let your body rest though or else you could get lasting injuries that would keep you off the ice for a long time.
