being singled out at work – big time?
i wont even get into the whole story but the newest issue is my sweater
it is a plain navy blue zip up cotton sweater
i leave it at work cause it is at times an ice box here – so i wear it when im cold over whatever im wearing – which is appropriate black pants dress shirts and shoes – or whatever but definitely in code of what we can wear – so im taken aside yesterday and asked to
not wear exercising attire to work any more
what the hell!!!!!!!!! – its a plain cotton zipper sweater
meanwhile others wear puma and nike hoodies and nothing is said to them
this is getting to be a bit much
any opinions? this is the shortest of all the nonsense thats going on with me at my job rite now – so what do u think say something?
o and it wasnt human resources who said anything it was the head administrator of operations – and also i had this sweater for over a yr and have worn it to work often
I’d say at this stage of the game, either get another sweater…or start polishing up your resume. You can try to fight it, but I doubt you’ll win…and in this age of job and economic insecurity, I’d say choose your fight carefully.
