Where can I find mens US size 14 double wide pointe shoes?
I am a 15 year old boy, I am 6′2″, and I have been dancing for many years, I am going up on pointe this year (I know, most men do not go up on pointe, but I do musical theater, so it is more for the skill than to join a company). I have humongous feet, and I cannot find big enough shoes anywhere! I thought that Sansha size 18 Recital Wide-Wide Tip ones might work, but I cannot find where to buy them! I just want to find the biggest possible sizes of pointe shoes that exist! Please help me! I have wanted to go up on pointe since I was little! I am desperate!
Go to the Sansha shop online. I think they only make to size 17. http://www.sansha.com/footwear-pointe-stu-can.html#
Contact Ballet Trocadero. They certainly should be able to help you.

Why would you need to go en pointe for musical theater???? Some male dancers do it to strengthen their arches but it is rarely if ever danced on stage except for ballet trocadero.

Shoes for dancing and moonwalking?
Im looking to buy a shoe that works good for dancing and moonwalking. That look similar to Michael Jackson’s since I dont know the exact brand he wore. http://cgi.ebay.com/Florsheim-Asti-Black-Leather-Mens-Dress-Loafers_W0QQitemZ220505229307QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Men_s_Shoes?var=&hash=item791277f7cc that looks like the closest match but im wondering would something like that be good for the cause?
please post suggestions and feedback
If you want to spend money those work, but if you don’t, just wear black slippers that cover the entire foot. If you are performing people won’t know the difference if you wear white socks with the slippers. However, I would not recommend anything but sneakers until you have been dancing for about six months. Other types of shoes tend to be slippery on the dance floor. Good luck!
